Ivan Stefic, mayor of the Crotian town of Medkimurje, has asked scientists to examine what he believes is an alien head.

The purported head was dug up in a local graveyard, in the borough of Donja Dubrava in northern Croatia.

“It scared the life out of me to see that thing staring up out of the ground,” said one worker, according to Orange.UK

The head smelled very sweet, the workers said. It is made of a meterial similar to soft rubber, locals told the Croatian Times

Stefic said that the head was found about one meter below the surface and shocked the workers.

“We have got it safe here at the Town Hall until the scientists take it from us,” he said. “I know it sounds crazy, but we can’t think of any more rational explanation for what we’ve found.”
