After a season of trials and testing which resulted in improvement if not notable success, Alex Job Racing has decided to continue to develop it’s GTE Lotus Evora while competing in the American Le Mans Series in 2013.

The team introduced the new car in the second race of the 2012 season, and improved it race by race. The best finish was sixth at Virginia International Raceway, but in a GTE field as deep as ALMS offers, sixth is a considerable achievement.

Drivers Bill Sweedler and Townsend Bell will also return.

“We have a long to-do list with the Evora during the off-season,” team owner Alex Job told endurance-info.com.

“Bill and Townsend are committed to keeping the development of the Evora moving forward and that is what we are planning to do. We are going to do some wind tunnel time and work with Lotus and Cosworth to get the car further up the ultra-competitive GT grid for 2013.”
