A woman’s Halloween turned into a nightmare after the fake toy teeth she put on wouldn’t come off, forcing her to get emergency dental work.

Anna Tew, of Mobile County, Alabama, said she used the temporary glue that came with the store-bought vampire teeth. She said that her efforts to remove the fake vampire teeth, which grew painfully tight, lasted until the early morning hours.

“I even took a pair of wire clippers and cut the tips off of those,” she told WKRG.

“I was trying to remove them then because they were just tight,” Tew added. The glue, she said, was supposed to be temporary.

She was forced to seek out a dentist who could see her right away, and she went to Dr. John Murphy’s chair at Alabama Family Dental on Saturday, Oct. 27.

He said that products like these sometimes get stuck.

“He talked about drilling. They had a saw, talked about taking them off in sections, and they couldn’t numb it because they were scared they would actually pull my teeth out,” she told the media outlet. “So he went in and picked and pulled and I squealed like a baby and they got them out.”

After the ordeal, Tew suggested that people should be cautious and added she won’t ever use toy teeth again.

“Never do it again. Never will I put anything like that back in my mouth,” she said.

The teeth cost about $3, she told Fox2. Now, she’s looking into legal options.
