AG Paxton: Democrats ‘Could Be Arrested as Soon as They Step Back on Texas Soil’

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on July 17 said that the Democrats who have fled the state in an effort to block election legislation could be arrested upon their return to the Lone Star State.

“If you care about the Constitution, there are constitutional duties to show up when there is a session and represent the people they are elected to represent,” Paxton told Newsmax. They “could be arrested as soon as they step back on Texas soil.”
