Amid optimistic forecasts for the software giant, Adobe Systems Inc. reported on Tuesday $1.124 billion in revenue for its second quarter ending on June 1, a 10 percent increase from the previous year.

Adobe had a net income of $223.9 million, or $0.45 cents a share. Non-GAAP earnings were $0.60 cents a share, derived from raw revenue. Adobe said the launch of Creative Cloud was one of the factors that led to the results.

“Our strong Q2 results were driven by the successful launch of Creative Cloud and Creative Suite 6, strong Acrobat revenue and 35 percent year-over-year revenue growth in our Digital Marketing Suite business,” said Shantanu Narayen, president and CEO of Adobe, in a statement. “These results demonstrate our leadership in the Digital Media and Digital Marketing markets.”

Adobe is predicting a $1.075 billion to $1.125 billion revenue at the end of the third quarter with non-GAAP earnings between $0.56 and $0.61 cents per share.
