Adidas issued a mea culpa on June 7 for misspelling Colombia in advertisements showcasing the team’s new jerseys for the Copa America tournament.

“We value our partnership with the Colombian Football Federation and apologize for our mistake. We removed these graphics and are quickly installing new versions today.”

The advertisement features Colombia soccer players in white home jerseys along with the word ‘COLUMBIA’ in big white font. Adidas has provided the team’s uniforms since 2011.

Twitter users lambasted the sports designer for its flub.

Colombia’s men’s soccer team is currently ranked No. 3 in the world, behind Belgium and Argentina. The team defeated Paraguay 2-1 on Tuesday night.
