Adam Driver missed out on being a villain in “Batman vs Superman,” but may get the opportunity to be one in “Star Wars Episode 7.”

The “Girls” actor is close to signing on to play the villain in the movie, sources told Variety.

No deal is done but it’s close.

The character is said to be in the vein of Darth Vader.

Driver, 30, is one of numerous actors linked to the film outside of the three original stars--Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill.

JJ Abrams is directing.

The sage will continue where “Return of the Jedi” left off.

The film is set for a December 18, 2015 release date.
