The 27th Amendment to the Constitution, prohibiting midterm pay raises for Congress, was ratified on May 7, 1992. The 1st Congress sent it to the states on Sept. 25, 1789.
Investigator: VA Employees Told to Falsify Records
Employees at the Fort Collins clinic for veterans in Colorado were instructed to falsify records to make it appear that patients were getting appointments close to the day requested, government investigators said.
