A fire caused extensive damage to a home in unincorporated San Leandro earlier Sep. 13, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded at 12:19 p.m. to a fire in a home on Rosewood Court.

The one-alarm fire, which started on the exterior of the home, traveled from the rear to the attic.

Firefighters kept the fire from spreading to any other homes.

Fire officials said there were no reports of any injuries. An investigator determined that the cause was accidental, according to fire officials.

Two people and a cat were displaced by the fire.
