Good wins for Abacus Kowloon and Leighton Asia HKCC in the Hong Kong Premiership Rugby League move them both nearer the top of the standings table. After the win, Abacus Kowloon are equal top, with Newedge Club on 19 points and Leighton Asia HKCC are just two points adrift on 17 points.

Leading Kowloon by a scoring points difference of 53, Newedge Club are still in a strong position, having played one less game as their fixture last week with second-bottom team SCAA Standard Life CWB Rams was postponed.

Playing at King’s Park, Abacus Kowloon competed against Verizon HK Scottish winning 32-5 and Leighton Asia HKCC won their match against Borrelli Wash Tigers 48-10.
