Aaron Hernandez was indicted on Thursday for the murder of Odin Lloyd, a former associate, whose body was found two months ago.
Hernandez, the former tight end for the New England Patriots, was at a probable cause hearing on Thursday, reported WBZ-TV.
He has spend the past two months in jail after he was denied bond.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty.
He will be arraigned later on Thursday.
