Dear Epoch Times,

I am writing to thank you for creating a superb newspaper, week after week.

Every Friday I look forward to receiving your newspaper at Penn Station in New York City. I have become a dedicated reader. Your newspaper is one of the most cultured papers, filled with a variety of news throughout the world. I appreciate learning about pressing issues in both my local area in addition to from news around the world.

Since completing graduate school and joining the workforce I feel that I have not been academically stimulated, but reading your newspaper has fulfilled this void. And for that I truly thank you.

Most recently I saw an advertisement for a movie called “Free China” and took the initiative to see that movie with a friend of mine. We were absolutely blown away when learning about the total disregard for freedom and blatant violation of human rights in China. We signed a petition and have been spreading with word about its injustices.

With so many different forms of media I am sure competition is fierce. But I wanted to encourage you all to keep up the great work. Some of us still enjoy a newspaper in our hands while on the train—and I am only 28 years old. Your editors write with compassion and consideration, in addition to being credible sources, with their education and experience. I am contemplating signing up for the weekly issue to be mailed to home. I wish you all continued success, and on behalf of your readers, we say thank you with the utmost sincerity.
