You may or may not believe in reincarnation, but it really seems like Billie Holiday has returned.

This time she was born in Norway in 2006 as a girl named Angelina Jordan.

Angelina came to the world’s attention when she wowed the judges of “Norway’s Got Talent,” when she was 8 years old in 2014.

She went on to win “Norway’s Got Talent” final show with an astounding 46 percent of all the votes that were sent in, with 10 people competing. Since then she has continued to melt audience’s hearts with her soulful interpretations, gaining her a huge following.

Here’s her singing “What a Difference a Day Makes,” from Dinah Washington, at a live outdoor concert in Norway.

When asked why she wore no shoes on stage, Angelina told the remarkable story of how she met a barefoot young street vendor when she was traveling in Asia with her family.

After a brief exchange,  Angelina gave the girl her own shoes. The vendor girl told her that she would like to become a doctor one day. She said she would pray for Angelina everyday so that all her dreams would come true.

Now, when performing on stage, Angelina wears no shoes in honor of the girl.

Here’s the most recent offering from the quickly rising star—a “live” performance home video—posted on her Facebook page.
