Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, the seven-year-old who famously sang an unforgettable rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, just over a week ago at an LA Galaxy game appeared on “Good Morning America” on Oct. 2.

Thinking back to her performance on Sept. 23, she said she felt “nervous and excited.”

“I told myself I can’t mess up because it’s a really special song for America,” she said.

She was shocked that the performance had gone viral. Emma clearly remembers her dad’s phone blowing up with messages and videos.

“Well yeah because like after LA Galaxy my dad couldn’t stop looking at his phone,” she said.

She started singing when she was only one, so by the time she turned three, her father put her in singing lessons.

While on “Good Morning America” Tuesday, she got to meet and sing with one of her idols, Jennifer Holliday.

“It’s really cool because like no one has ever seen Jennifer Holliday when they were seven and I never knew that could happen, she’s also my idol and then like I got to sing with her so it’s really cool,” she said.

Someday, Emma hopes to sing with another one of her idols, Christina Aguilera. She also looks up to singers Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Beyonce. Little Emma has big entertainment plans for herself in the future.

“I want to be a singer, actress, pianist, violinist and a doctor,” she said.
