5.5 Earthquake Hits Off Japan’s Coast

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake today hit off the coast of Honshu, Japan.

The quake was at a depth of 16.2 miles and about the same distance from Fukushima and Tokyo as the 7.1 quake that hit on Oct. 25.

The quake hit about 201 miles from Namie and 293 miles from Tokyo.

There are no tsunami warnings or advisories following the quake.
