46 suspected illegal immigrants were found dead in a truck trailer abandoned in Texas. 16 survivors—hot to the touch—were brought to the hospital suffering from heat stroke and exhaustion.

Three people are dead and at least 50 were injured in an Amtrak train derailment in Missouri on Monday. Federal Railroad Administration staff are en route to support the investigation.
