3 Dead in Fiery Crash in Phoenix Involving Stolen SUV

Three people are dead after a stolen car crashed into another vehicle near I-17 in Phoenix, Arizona, it was reported.

The car was heading north on I-17 at 8 p.m. on Monday. Shortly after that, police received a call of a serious car crash with a fire involved, Fox10 reported.
Phoenix fire Capt. Jake Van Hook told AzFamily.com that seven people were in the stolen SUV that crashed.

The SUV was being driven by a 14-year-old. Three people inside the car, including a 13-year-old girl, were killed in the crash, police said. The 14-year-old driver and three other passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The relationship between the seven people in the SUV---which included adults---is not clear, police said.

The driver of the other car was hurt but expected to survive.

The SUV was stolen in Phoenix, police told AzCentral. The keys had been left inside of it.
