A shooting near a nightclub in Tennessee early on June 5 has led to three deaths and 14 wounded, in the second mass shooting in recent days in the city.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at a nightclub at around 2:45 a.m. local time, according to Jeremy Eames, a spokesperson for the Chattanooga Police Department. Multiple victims were discovered when police arrived, he told CNN.

In addition to those who were killed or wounded, three individuals were hit by vehicles trying to flee the scene of the shooting, officials said.

No suspects are in custody, and the identities of the victims haven’t yet been released. Eames said police believe there were several suspects.

Chattanooga Police Chief Celeste Murphy said the shooting was an “isolated incident” and that “multiple shooters” were involved. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown, Murphy added, while asking the public’s help for more information.

“Regardless of how small and insignificant you may think that it is ... please reach out to us,” she said, according to ABC News.

“This is once again a situation in which we find that we need help from the community to help us out with this,” Murphy also said, according to local media. “We cannot do this by ourselves, and we’re asking you for help. This is clearly a tragic event for the families involved and the victims. So at this time, I definitely want to make sure that we extend our condolences and thoughts to the families and individuals that are experiencing this today.”
Last week, a shooting in downtown Chattanooga left several teenagers injured. A 15-year-old was arrested in connection with that case.

Members of the public who have information should call in tips at 423-643-5100 or through the department’s Atlas One app. Tipsters can remain anonymous, according to Murphy.
