The Nexus 6 is Google’s newest smartphone and the company’s best handset considering its high-end hardware. The phone has a 6-inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage and a 13-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization.

While some of these specs have been leaked countless times before the phone became official, only to be confirmed by the company on Wednesday, there are some Nexus 6 features that Google isn’t talking about that might be important to certain buyers.

FROM EARLIER: Nexus 6 is the first Nexus phone that no U.S. carrier could resist

The Nexus 6 is water-resistant, a detail you won’t find on Google’s Nexus 6 product page, but which can be easily seen on Motorola’s listing for the handset.

Similarly, the handset packs a 3,220 mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly, also a feature not mentioned on the official Nexus 6 page, but one that Motorola confirmed and Google has also listed on a press page.

Finally, the Nexus 6 will have Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile, although the feature will only be available to users at some point in 2015 following a software update, according to T-Mobile’s own Nexus 6 announcement.

The Nexus 6 will be available from all major U.S. carriers, in addition to the Play Store and other retailers in November, with preorders set to start in late October.
