228,000 households in Quebec and Montreal don’t have power right now because of lightning.

Lightning hit power lines from the Churchill Falls Power Station on the Churchill River this afternoon, according to CBC.

The station is one of the largest in the world, powering over 5.4 million kilowatts to the surrounding areas.
