Two bodies were discovered in a submerged car in a Southwest Miami-Dade canal, according to reports on Thursday.

The car matches a description of a vehicle two 21-year-olds, Alexandra Picon and Brandon Arana, were reportedly driving on Sunday when they went missing, WSVN reported.

The 2015 Toyota Corolla was found near Black Point Marina on Southwest 268th Street and 111th Avenue.

The Miami-Dade medical examiner will have to identify the remains before making any conclusions about the bodies.

The Miami Herald reported that police weren’t willing to link it to the missing couple.

However, NBC Miami reported that aerial footage showed the license plate of the submerged car. It matched the tag on the vehicle that Picon and Arana were driving.
