Police are looking for the person who crashed a high-performance sports car and left it burning near the George Washington Bridge.

Port Authority Police spokesman Joe Pentangelo says the Lamborghini Diablo was found on fire and unoccupied in the westbound lanes near the bridge toll plaza in Fort Lee early Monday. The vehicle showed signs of a crash and sustained extensive fire damage.

Lamborghini Diablos were made by the Italian sports car company from 1990 to 2001. They are typically valued at $150,000 to $200,000.
