13 hurt in D.C. shooting: Police on Monday released footage of a shooting that left 13 people hurt in Washington D.C. Earlier reports said that only 11 people were injured.

UPDATE: Police are still searching for at least one person suspected of shooting up a crowd of people early on Monday morning, which left 13 people injured. Authorities released video footage Monday in the hopes that the perpetrators will be caught.
Originally, reports on Monday said that only 11 people were shot from a vehicle. However, The Associated Press reported later in the day that two others were apparently wounded.
“We have mostly gunshot wounds to the legs, extremities, hands, some graze wounds...” Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier told NBC News. “[The victims] have been transported to a hospital for some sort of treatment.”
Victims were taken to a local hospital. One man was shot in the back and was seriously injured, but the other 12 victims did not suffer life-threatening injuries, reported AP.

In the incident, two cars sped down a street and fired shots rapidly, prompting crowds of people to scatter.
“Whether they came from the club, I’m not sure,” Lanier told AP. “There is usually a pretty good crowd out here—Saturday night, Sunday night.”
Metropolitan Police officials said they are searching for a dark-colored BMW and a light-colored sedan, according to WFMY-2 television. Police are offering up to $10,000 for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspects or suspect.

The shooting took place in front of the crime-ridden Tyler House apartment complex.
Commander Andy Solberg told The Washington Post that in the area, when clubs close early in the morning, “a whole lot of people with cash in their pockets come out onto the street, and the guys from Tyler House are waiting for them. That’s when you get the holdups, and that’s the source of the shootings in the neighborhood.”
“You won’t get the violence down as much as you'd like until you do something about Tyler House,” he added.
