This video is an adventure even for those who watch it. Imagine 100 GoPro-Cameras all fixed on ONE Volkswagen GTI and professional Rallye-Driver Tanner Foust out on the streets doing what he’s best at: take a car to its limits. The really crazy thing about this video is that the viewer can switch between different angles like “Hero” or “V-Game”-mode. With this new level of interactivity Volkswagen has taken Car-Advertising to new heights.

Tanner Foust takes the car through on a closed course that includes a Car-Wash, picks up friends, shows his (rather unimpressed) dog who is sitting in the back seat how he can make the GTI spin around a person on the street and goes food-shopping. Of course, there’s a lot of action in this Adrenaline-pumped video.

The Volkswagen GTI 2015 is the latest version of the most powerful classic compact car Volkswagen produces. The seventh generation GTI produces a whopping 210hp at 4500 rpm, which means 10 hp more than its predecessor.

The engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder beast with 258 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder comes with either a standard six-speed manual or the optional six-speed dual-clutch (“DSG”) automatic transmission.

This car uses a new front-wheel-drive architecture that VP plans to apply in several future models.
