NEW YORK—Suite 36, a premiere restaurant, sports bar, and lounge, recently opened in the Garment District. Located on 36th St., between 5th and 6th avenues, it operates as a restaurant and sports bar during the day, and a nightclub at night.

Located in an old textiles warehouse, guests enter through royal blue metal doors.

It can seat 50 at the foot bar and communal tables in the middle of the room, where there are 38 televisions. 

Cocktails and Cuisine 

Executive Chef Kirk McKinney created a menu with Hawaiian influences. With over 50 items to chose from, signature dishes include the Lobster Corn “Dogs,” Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sandwich, Grilled Grass-Fed Rib Eye and the Barnyard Trio of Grilled Colorado Lamb Chops, Tournedo of Beef and Duck Leg confit. The menu prices range from $8 to $32.

In-house mixologist, Olivia O'Leary, created the signature cocktails, which include fresh juices from grab-in-go Pulp Organic Juice Bar. Cocktails range from $10 to $16. 

Popular Drinks

Espresso Tini: Freshly ground espresso, Baileys’ Irish Cream, Ciroc Amaretto and a dash of Tahitian Vanilla Extract served up and garnished with espresso bean.

The President of the Company: 100 Proof Bourbon infused with bacon aged in a charred White Oak barrel. 

Loosened Tie: Pyrat Rum, Ginger and Pulps’ Cold Press Pineapple  with a sprinkle of cinnamon, squeeze of lemon juice and agave nectar 

The dress code changes from day to night. Casual wear is accepted during the day, while sophistication is expected at night.
