Bieber passes out: At a performance in London, Justin Beiber reportedly passed out backstage after feeling light-headed.
Justin Beiber fainted at a London concert on Thursday, it was reported. The 19-year-old pop phenom passed out backstage at the O2 Arena after feeling light-headed near the end of his performance.
“He got oxygen from emergency personnel. He insisted on finishing the show. He is on the way to the hospital right now,” a Bieber spokesperson told E! News.
Eyewitnesses went on Twitter right when he fainted.
Sources with the arena told the crowd he wasnt feeling well before he went backstage to get a checkup.
“Justin’s got very light breath. The whole show he’s been complaining, He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor,” his representative, Scooter Braun, told the concert, according to celebrity news website TMZ.
He finished the performance around 10 minutes later even though a doctor told him not to, according to E! News.
According to TMZ, a source said that he “had to finish the show for his fans.”
He was later rushed to a hospital and is said to be fine, the website said.
“[Justin] is gonna come out and finish the show… He might not be jumping around as much… but we’re not trying to be disrespectful. We’re truly trying to put on a show. Just bear with us, he’s a tough kid,” Braun said, according to a video recording.
During the summer, Beiber slammed into a glass wall at a Paris show, causing a minor concussion. E! News reported that he later collapsed while walking down a street.
