A day after receiving backlash over a comment that he supported abortion at full term, Mr. Kennedy said he changed his stance after listening to advisers.
The regulator said a local union improperly deducted more than $2 million from its members paychecks to fund political contributions between 2012 and 2017.
He also ruled that potential witness and former FEC member Bradley Smith will not be allowed to give his opinion on the case or on federal election law.
