NEW YORK—Jaws dropped as New York City bakery Ferrara unveiled the world’s largest cannoli at the San Gennaro festival on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Ferrara’s record-setting cannoli is 12 feet long, 350 pounds, and contains 50 pounds of chocolate chips—a massive dessert indeed.

The previous record was set in Boston by a 7-foot-long cannoli, weighing 150 pounds including the filling. Ferrara aims to hold the title of the World’s Largest Cannoli.

The crowd roared with joy as the chefs from Ferrara bakery filled this 12-foot-long cannoli with buckets and buckets of cream.

Ferrara bakery also gave out 2,000 of its famous mini cannolis to the public for free.

Ferrara’s Bakery and Cafe is located in Little Italy, Lower Manhattan. The bakery was founded in 1892, and has maintained the same building and bloodline throughout the years.
