On Wednesday, three young girls performed a choreographed song and dance about Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Pensacola, Florida.
Dressed in American-flag patterned dresses, the “Freedom Kids” sang:
Cowardice
Are you serious?
Apologies for freedom, I can’t handle this.
When freedom rings, answer the call!
On your feet, stand up tall!
Freedom’s on our shoulders, USA!
Enemies of freedom face the music, c’mon boys, take them down
President Donald Trump knows how to make America great
Deal from strength or get crushed every time
Trump had already made headlines with his comments about a broken mic at the Florida rally. Now his theme song has sent online commentators into a frenzy.
Trump isn’t the only presidential candidate to have been celebrated by children in music on the campaign trial. In 2008, Obama, then a candidate, featured a video of children singing a hymn about his future presidency on his campaign website.
We’re gonna spread happiness
We’re gonna spread freedom
Obama’s gonna change it
Obama’s gonna lead ’em
The video was produced by Obama fundraiser Kathy Sawada, according to TownHall.
After the performance on Wednesday, other Trump supporters went on stage to share why they were endorsing him.
