A new “Saturday Night Live” skit injects a little “X-Files” horror into the mundane world of a fake Super Bowl ad for Totino pizza rolls.

The ad begins with a mildly annoyed wife, whose husband is watching the Super Bowl in the living room with a few friends. She then takes out a box of Totino pizza rolls, presenting it as the only product that can “satisfy my hungry guys.”

But when she brings the pizza rolls to the living room, it’s clear that something’s gone terribly wrong.

The TV is turned off and the guys have been cheering at a blank screen. The wife talks to her husband, but he and the other guys continue to cheer at the empty screen robotically.

Then they finally turn to her, with their eyes eerily black, and she screams. Cue a cut to an ad for the “X-Files” series reboot.

To draw attention to the “X-Files” revival, Fox made all-new footage from the season finale available online, but only during the Super Bowl halftime show, the Wrap reports.
