Kobe Bryant is not only 36 years old, but has not played professional basketball for nearly a year due to an onslaught of severe injuries. That has led to many reports that the Kobe Bryant that we know is done for.
Whoops.
Though just a small sample size, Bryant looked far from “done” in his 21 minutes of playing time in the Los Angeles Laker’s first preseason game versus the Denver Nuggets
Bryant looked young and spry, and was clearly the focal point of the offense, where he is seen including his teammates with some flashy assists. Not to mention, his fade-away jumper looks as good as ever.
Bryant finished 5/12 from the field with a total stat line of 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Lakers host the Warriors for their 2nd preseason game on October 9th as Kobe continues his comeback trail.
