Former President George Herbert Walker Bush died at 10:10 p.m. central time on Nov. 30 at age 94.

Today, President Trump declared that Dec. 5 will be a national day of mourning.

Condolences and remembrances are pouring in from across the globe—honoring former President George H.W. Bush.

President Trump announced he’s attending Bush’s memorial service and praised the 41st president for his commitment to faith, family and country.

“We will be spending three days of mourning and three days of celebrating a really great man’s life. So we look forward to doing that. And he certainly deserves it. He really does. He’s a very special person. I spoke with Jeb and George today and we had great conversations and we discussed actually for quite some time the father and how much they loved him and how much that he loved them.” President Trump said.

President Donald Trump canceled a planned press conference at the G-20 summit in Argentina today “out of respect for the Bush Family.”

Thousands Lose Power After Alaska Earthquake Damaged Buildings, Roads

Thousands of people in Alaska were left without power after a major earthquake just north of Anchorage damaged buildings, roads, and other infrastructure.

The 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit at 5:29 p.m. UTC on Nov. 30 just 8 miles north of the city, which has nearly 300,000 people.

A 5.2 magnitude quake hit soon after.

More than 230 small earthquakes have hit parts of Alaska since Friday.

French Police Clash With ‘Yellow Vest’ Protesters in Paris, More Than 200 Arrested

Police fired tear gas, stun grenades and water cannons at “yellow vest” protesters around the Champs Elysees in Paris, marking the third weekend of demonstrations across France against high living costs.

More than 200 people have been arrested after a day of clashes between protesters and police in central Paris, local authorities said.

The “yellow vest” protests began as a backlash against Macron’s increase in fuel taxes, but have tapped into a vein of deep dissatisfaction towards the 40-year-old’s economic reforms, which many voters feel favour the wealthy and big business.
