Governor Javier Duarte said an explosion occurred at a Pemex oil facility in Coatzacalcos, a city within the state of Veracruz, in Mexico on April 20. Three people were injured.
Duarte said on Twitter protocols for the facility have been put in place.
Pemex, the Mexican national oil company, said on its Twitter account three employees have been injured. There are no reports of any deaths.

Pemex said the explosion happened at a plant in the Pajaritos petrochemical complex, according to Diario de Mexico.
Yolanda Guitérrez Carlin, director of Civil Protection, said there are 10 fire teams at the scene.
Emergency services said hundreds of workers have been evacuated, according to Reuters. Veracruz is home to a major oil export hub.
