Vhong Navarro is set to get back to work this week on filming for “Da Possessed,” a horror-comedy movie.
Filming for the movie has been on a break for about a month after Navarro was beaten–about the same amount of time he’s taken a break from Instagram and Twitter.
Navarro is a leading actor in the film, along with Angel Locsin and John Lapus.
Navarro was for a time recovering from the injuries he suffered during the Deniece Cornejo incident, but has since recovered.
Filming started for the movie in December; Navarro was beaten on January 22.
Navarro is embroiled in two court cases–one which involves Cornejo and businessman Cedric Lee, and Lee’s cohorts; and the other which involves beauty pageant contestant Roxanne Acosta Cabanero. Both women accuse Navarro of raping them, although Navarro’s accounts of what happened appear to have evidence behind them.
These won’t take up all his time, though, leaving him free to continue filming for the movie.
There’s no set date for the ABS-CBN host to return to “It’s Showtime.”
