Wild leopard fell and got trapped in deep well—but how villagers found him next morning, alarming

Wildlife photographer Sujan Shetty caught the gripping moment a wild leopard was discovered to be hanging by its claws for dear life, stuck in a 15-feet deep well.

The well, located in the Mudrady, Udupi, Karnataka village in India, was estimated to have been there all night, and discovered at close to 9 in the morning on that Saturday.

Upon its discovery, villagers and forest officials banded together to devise a way to rescue the animal and bring him to safety.
