Getting a haircut is a double-edged sword. There’s always a chance that other people will hate your new look, despite your love for it. The reverse can also be true. So, when Dawne Kirkwood got her head completely shaved after growing her hair out for 20 years, she was understandably nervous.
For everyone asking about my moms hair length before she cut her hair. There you go 💃🏽 pic.twitter.com/aBYFSgEADF

She personally loved her new look but didn’t know how her husband would react. She did, however, know that such a dramatic change would prompt a dramatic reaction from her hubby. She decided that, no matter if it was good or bad, getting her spouse’s response on video could potentially be quite entertaining.
So after 20 years of growing her dreads my mom wanted to cut off her hair. She wasn’t sure how my dad would react tho….but this is how he did. 😭🤧 pic.twitter.com/Nih3jH2qSb

Her daughter, Praize, filmed the reveal and posted it to Twitter. The video starts out with Mr. Kirkwood’s back turned away while his wife waits in the other room. He asks for a signal to turn around and, when he gets it, he can’t believe his eyes!
“You’re so hot!” he exclaimed. “You look just like a Hollywood star!”
He then runs over to his wife, saying “Ooh! That is so fine!” before giving her a hug and a kiss.
The video ends at only 45 seconds with the dad exclaiming, “You look awesome. Woo! Boy! I can’t believe it!” but I think it’s fair to say that he continued flirting with her for quite a while after that.
My parents and I decided to answer all of you guys questions in a YouTube video. On my channel that will be getting posted soon!!!!!!! So leave questions of what you guys want to know. 😊 let’s keep it PG13…FOR ME 🙏🏾🙃

Not only did her husband love her haircut, she’s become a viral sensation! I’d say that’s about as good as a haircut can go.
