NYC Summer Ice Cream Blizzard

Sunday, July 16 At the Upper West Side fair Grand Bazaar NYC, about a dozen ice cream shops will be serving scoops to beat the summer heat. Participating vendors include Dolce Brooklyn–Artisanal Gelato & Ice Cream, Victory Garden, Minus Celsius Ice Cream, Taiyaki NYC, and Lickety Split Ice Cream. Sunday, July 23 Eataly will host a gelato festival, with seven stations of treats spread throughout the store for attendees to sample, including affogato (ice cream drowned in expresso); traditional, savory, and boozy gelato; granita (slush); coppe (Italian sundaes); gelato-topped crepes; and sweet focaccia stuffed with gelato. 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Stations will accept tickets, priced at $4 each.
