NYC Restaurant Week

Monday, July 24–Friday, Aug 18 NYC Restaurant Week is back and celebrating its 25th anniversary. All 391 participating restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe menus at $29 for lunch and $42 for dinner. This season, diners can also sign up for four tasting menu experiences, complete with wine pairings, at Bâtard Tribeca (July 24), Buttermilk Channel (Aug. 1), Maiella (Aug. 6), and Amada (Aug. 14). NYCGo.com/restaurant-week

Iced Coffee Competition at Hester Street Fair 

Saturday, July 29 You can be the judge in this friendly battle of the brews among local coffee shops and roasters on the Lower East Side. Ticket holders will be able to taste iced coffee from each vendor and vote for their favorite. Music from Bryce Hackford and offerings from other food, fashion, jewelry, and craft vendors will also be available. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission, $10 tickets for tastings. HesterStreetFair.com

NYC Craft and Imports Festival

Saturday, July 29 Sample beer from over 15 local home brewers and independent craft breweries with complimentary bites at the NYC Craft and Imports Festival. Friday, Aug 4 The Long Island International Film Festival is closing with a dinner on the beach—a night of food, wine, and craft beer tastings accompanied by live music. In addition, guests can attend the Bling & Bubbly Experience, where, for a $20 donation, they can pick from over 400 champagne glasses—one of which will contain a Forevermark Diamond. At 9 p.m., attendees can end the evening with short films at the custom-built Beach Theater.
