Oh, Canada…North America’s beloved hat! Some of you out there may have been touched by Canada in some shape or form. In fact, given the magic of the internet, some of you reading this may actually be Canadians!
Canada Day is July 1st, and this year Canada is also celebrating its 150th birthday. People are getting into the spirit of things early this years thanks to social media. The #WhyILoveCanada hashtag has recently become a popular way for those online to promote their love of all things Canadian. Some people take pride in Canada’s colorful money, poutine, and the fact that it is technically run by the Queen of England. Some take pride in the Canadian reputation of kindness and polite behavior. Some just like Canada because it doubles as a classic ginger ale brand.
The four seasons…hockey, hockey, hockey and poutine. #WhyILoveCanada
