A donkey in India was hit by a vehicle, and stood dazed on the street, injured and bleeding.
Kind bystanders called for help, and Animal Aid Unlimited was able to come to the rescue in time.
Hobnob the donkey had been hit by a fast-moving vehicle, and ended up with a thick gash on his right leg and shoulder. He was stuck on the road, where trucks sped by too quickly for the donkey to move, and stranded him.
The poor donkey was in so much pain he didn’t resist being carried to the ambulance at all.
The rescue team cleaned out the wound and dressed it every day for 54 days.
Ten days later, Hobnob was much better! He was ready to graze with the other donkeys and move in a much more carefree manner.
