When a Singapore man named Ronald noticed an UberEATS worker last Tuesday, he was surprised to see the delivery man on crutches and using a scooter.
The mysterious delivery driver has only one leg. After getting around on his electric scooter, he uses his crutches to work his way to the front door and deliver the food.
Upon observing this, Ronald grew curious and decided to approach the man. Wanting to support the man in any way he could, he asked if there was a code he could use to request food delivery services from him specifically.
However, the delivery man said that when ordering food through the UberEATS app, there wasn’t a way to pick a specific delivery person. While this was somewhat disappointing for Ronald, the next bit of info was much more promising.
After their conversation, Robert said he would describe the UberEATS delivery man as a “very nice, positive man with a cheerful attitude.”
“Some people with one leg, they may just sit and beg for money, but he is very inspirational, going around and delivering food to other people,” he added.
We can order a lot of meals through the UberEATS app—but the connections we make with others can not only fill our stomachs but our hearts as well.
