After his car fell into a ditch in Palm Bay, Florida, a man’s car caught on fire. He was badly injured and couldn’t move. The group around him watched on with great concern.

“Get out here now!” one woman shouted. “Please hurry, Pete!”

“Please help us! Please help us get him, Lord!” yelled another.

Fortunately, a group of 4 men were down by the burning car doing their best to get him out. When a cop ran down with a fire hydrant and joined them, a sense of hope emerged among the crowd.

“Oh my god!” one person said. “They’re gonna get him out.”

“You will not die!” said another. “You will live!”

Sure enough, the group at the base of the hill was able to get the man pulled out. There was much cheering among the crowd. Soon, 4 men were carrying the passed out driver up the hill, one grabbing each limb.

As the men carried him up the mountain, it became clear that they wouldn’t be able to make it on their own. The hill was far too steep. That’s when the crowd had a brilliant idea: chaining their arms together to reach out to the passed-out man and pull him up the hill.

The plan worked and they were able to get the man a safe distance away from the fire. The fire department came soon after. As they took care of the fire, policemen worked on resuscitating the man.

By this point, smoke had filled pretty much the entire ditch below. It was a miracle that they pulled the man up when they did.
