The continent of Antarctica is fascinating simply because it’s the only continent that isn’t overly populated by humans. The idea of this mostly uninhabited place intrigued Andrew Orr to the point where he decided to take a trip there.

And how would he get there? He joined the crew of the Bark Europa.

Given that the usual way to get to Antarctica is to sail, Orr went with the Bark Europa, a 100-year-old sailing ship that really didn’t look it.

We see the ship start from the very bottom of Argentina, taking more than a week to get down to the tip of Antarctica.

Once they got there, they stumbled upon an army of penguins, much to Orr’s delight.

And when they ended up in South Georgia Island, there were even more penguins!

This is exactly what Orr was looking for—experiences that you couldn’t get anywhere else.

And this all led up to the ship’s final destination, which was Cape Town, South Africa.

If anything, this video shows that you are the one to make your dreams happen. Orr put in the work as a member of the crew, and he was rewarded with experiences he will never forget.
