Juhi Agrawal kissed a lion and became an internet sensation.
The British 31-year-old shared an image on her Google Plus page with the comment: “A moment that changed my life.”
These lions are not Agrawal’s pets, nor are they raised in a zoo or trained by a circus. They are part of a wildlife conservation run by a nonprofit.
“I work at a non profit organisation each year in Bloemfontein [South Africa] – Cheetah Experience. They have cheetahs, lions, leopards and other animals and we work closely with them all,” Agrawal explained in another comment.
Founded in 2006, the Cheetah Experience offers a “See, Sense, Touch’ experience with big cats. It helps conserve endangered species, and will eventually release these big cats back into a ‘protected wild’ where they will be free from poachers.
Touching wild big cats may be an unforgettable experience, but don’t approach any big cat without caution, lest your intimate friendship with the fierce big cats turns into something terrifying, or even deadly!
