It started with a crispy rice treat cheeseburger, with Cocoa Krispies standing in for the patty and ripped marshmallows as the sesame seeds adorning the top of the bun. It was an instant Instagram success for food artist Jessica Siskin, who went on to establish Misterkrisp, a business that specializes in customizable crispy rice treats. Her new book, “Treat Yourself! How to Make 93 Ridiculously Fun No-Bake Crispy Rice Treats,” includes recipes not only for the burger that started it all, but also the Statue of Liberty, a dancing lady emoji, a wizard hat, and a slice of pizza (with red licorice as pepperoni and shredded coconut as cheese), among many others.
