We’re not kidding when we say you have to see this waterslide stunt to believe it

Even if you’ve never been on a waterslide before, you know that as soon as you reach the bottom of the slide you fall straight into a pool of water, or at least you hope you do. It’s as much of a fact as water is wet. Well, this man is out to prove science wrong.

In a video posted to Twitter, a man is shown sliding down a waterslide and then, rather than dropping off into the pool, he continues sliding ACROSS the water! Yes, you read that right. He literally skims the top of the water while still remaining in an upright position.

Of course, as with every viral video, this one was inspected over and over by the best investigators on the Internet. Though many thought the video was edited or that something was hidden just below the surface of the water, it appears that this is actually the real deal.

The man in the video is 21-year-old Rolando Johnson and he is a lifeguard at the Pirates Island Waterpark in Jamaica. According to him he’s not the only one at the resort who can pull off this insane trick.

Several other videos uploaded to Twitter show that to be the case.

Mind blown!

Johnson explained how to do it to TMZ and it apparently only requires two things: getting a big push down the slide and crossing your legs and sitting up just as you shoot out of the slide. Sounds simple, but it took Johnson two years to perfect it, so it’s probably not as easy as it sounds.
