Usually in table tennis you’d avoid getting hit in the head with the ball, small as it is.
Turns out, there’s a whole sport where that’s the game. And it’s called Headis.
The rules are similar to table tennis, except you use your head instead of a paddle and a bigger ball (16 cm), and you’re allowed to touch the table with any part of your body.
You play to 11 points and 2 sets, and a player has to be up 2 points to win a set.
This is not just table tennis with headers 💪💪Credit: ViralHog

This heady game was invented about a decade ago by a sports science student named René Wegner, who wanted to play soccer but couldn’t find an open field. So he and his friend took over a table instead and knocked the ball back and forth with headers. Two years later, Headis was added to the sports program at the university he was studying at in Germany.
