How to go fishing for piranhas

This is not the kind of relaxing fishing trip most of us are used to. Actually, it’s a little nerve wracking to watch the girl walk on to a narrow plank to lure in piranhas. With leftover entrails from a pig, this woman went fishing for red-bellied piranhas by dangling the end of the pig guts into the Javaés River. The woman then let the piranhas that quickly latched on flail themselves into a large bucket to be later cooked, and eaten by her family. Watch what seems like a daring act for some, be just dinner prep for others.
