Al’s brother clearly has an enormous place in his heart for his French Bulldog, who is truly his best friend. One day, Al’s brother decided to get creative and build his little dog a place of his very own, which Al documented on Twitter, to the delight of all dog lovers.
This is one lucky French Bulldog!
Take a look for yourself! Al posted four photos of his brother’s dog’s “happy place” on Twitter on August 18, 2017, and it took off like a runaway pooch, garnering more than 100,000 retweets rapidly.
Al uploaded “before” and “after” photos of the room to show the transformation.
His brother used the space under his staircase to carve a rectangular-shaped dog room. He didn’t purchase a prefabricated doghouse, he built one—which is pretty cool in itself.
The stage is set.
Soon we see this is not going to be a normal run-of-the-mill dog house. It’s complete with a very cozy bed, special lighting, and family photos! The photos on the wall include a memory of a late best friend.
“He went to doggie heaven about a year and a half ago,” Al responded to a Twitter who asked about a white dog in one of the photos.
The walls were also painted to match the staircase, making the room look cozy and right at home.
Al shared the love…
The tweet itself served as instruction and inspiration for others who might want to try the DIY project.
Yes, you too can build your dog a home!
The completed room was given the seal of approval officially by the pooch when he went directly to the bed for a nap. And how could he not be attracted to the new digs?
It’s small but perfect.
