If you needed any evidence as to how much dogs care for us, this video is it.
A few years ago, Danila Alarcon from the Philippines unfortunately lost the use of his legs due to a motorcycle accident.
As a result, the 46-year-old man needs a wheelchair to get around—this can prove to be difficult, depending on how far away his destination is.
This is where his dog, Digong, comes into play.
A video taken by a witness shows the 7-month-old dog doing his best to help Alarcon push his wheelchair down the road in the town of Davao.
The woman who took the video, Faith Revilla, was on the road with her husband when she spotted the two; she was happy to see the teamwork between the man and his dog.
“It was a really beautiful moment when we saw the pair of them,” Revilla said according to Good News Network.
Digong, just like any other dog, wants the best for his owner, so if this includes helping him get around via wheelchair, then that’s exactly what he’ll do.
The video Revilla posted to Facebook has reached over 100,000 views, showing that people love to see a dog helping out his owner.
In fact, after meeting them, Revilla invited Alarcon and his dog to have lunch at the restaurant she manages. That’s how touched she was by the whole thing.
“I thought it only happens in TV shows, but this was a very real scene,” she told wrote in her Facebook post.
Digong always seems ready to help his owner, and Alarcon makes sure to reciprocate every bit of love given from the pup.
As of today, it looks like the three of them are good friends…
Behave si Digong (dog) ayaw niya sumakay sa sasakyan natatakot daw
…and they’re still all having lunch together.
Alarcon and Digong seem to be inseparable, so as long as the man has places to go, Digong will be right there with him, making his trips all the more easier.
